Minister takes part in the bhumi puja at Mattuthavani held
Minister for Commercial Taxes and Registration P. Moorthy, along with Collector S. Aneesh Sekar and Madurai Corporation Commissioner K. P. Karthikeyan, took part in a bhumi puja function for setting up a gasifier crematorium at press colony in Mattuthavani here on Friday. He said that the Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TNCCI) sponsored ₹1 crore for setting up the crematorium in Mattuthavani. TNCCI president N. Under the NBS, newborns are screened for communication disorders before they are discharged from the hospital. For this, AIISH has collaborated with several hospitals to conduct screening which is performed to detect hearing impairment and other developmental disabilities that can affect speech and language development. The screening has been helping in early intervention for those identified with the disorders, as any delay in the identification poses risk and affects successful management of children with hearing loss, according to AIISH.
