Madras HC denies bail to self-styled guru Shiv Shankar Baba in Pocso cases

Shiv Shankar Baba, the self-styled guru, is booked in two cases of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act for allegedly sexually harassing students at his educational institution Sushil Hari International Residential School in Kelambakkam near Chennai.

The Madras High court denied bail to C Sivasankaran alias Shiv Shankar Baba, the self-styled godman who is booked in two cases of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act. Shiv Shankar Baba was arrested on June 16 in Delhi by the CB-CID Police. Shiv Shankar Baba, who founded the Sushil Hari Schools, was booked for allegedly harassing students who were part of the residential school.
