Madhya Pradesh to launch Covid 'Vaccination Mahaabhiyan', inoculate 10 lakh people on Yoga Day

On the occasion of International Yoga Day, around 10 lakh people would be vaccinated against Covid-19 in Madhya Pradesh as part of 'Vaccination Mahaabhiyan'.
The Madhya Pradesh government will commemorate the 7th International Yoga Day today by launching a massive vaccination campaign against the coronavirus infection. The state government will set up 7,000 vaccination centres across the state as part of its “Covid-19 Vaccination Mahaabhiyaan”, with the goal of immunising over 10 lakh beneficiaries. Meanwhile, one lakh volunteers have been assigned the task of informing the public about the importance of vaccination and directing them to the vaccination centres. The volunteers have been instructed to conduct outreach programmes at the villages and ward levels in order to increase participation in the massive vaccination drive. As part of this campaign, hourly progress reports will be recorded. Transportation to the vaccination sites has also been arranged for people with disabilities and the elderly. A separate control room has been established in each district to monitor this vaccination programme.More Related News
