
Madhya Pradesh floods: Over 1,200 villages affected, Army, Air Force pressed into action

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that 1,225 villages have been affected by floods triggered by heavy rainfall. Teams of NDRF, SDRF, Indian Army and Air Force are involved in rescue operations.

"The flood situation in North Madhya Pradesh is grim. 1,225 villages in Shivpuri, Sheopur, Datia, Gwalior, Guna, Bhind and Morena districts are affected.
