CPCL and HMA launch M-cup distribution initiative under Project THINKAL to promote menstrual hygiene and sustainability.
Reinforcing its commitment to menstrual hygiene and sustainability, Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL), jointly with HLL Management Academy (HMA), launched the menstrual cup (M-cup) distribution initiative under Project THINKAL at the CPCL Polytechnic College in Manali. The initiative specifically targeted communities in Manali, Ennore, and Tiruvottiyur. The drive was launched by R. Gomuraj, deputy general manager (Administration), CPCL, who distributed M-cups and released an information booklet.
HMA’s Project THINKAL focuses on spreading awareness about menstrual health and promoting sustainable alternatives such as menstrual cups. CPCL and HMA aim to expand the reach of the programmes to more regions in the State, ensuring access to safe menstrual care for all, said a press release here.
