Veteran lyricist and poet Piraisoodan passed away on October 8 in Chennai. He had been unwell for the past few days after suffering a heart attack. He was 65. Piraisoodan is survived by his wife and two children. Kamal Haasan took to social media to pay tribute to the legend. Piraisoodan worked with leading composers including MS Viswanathan, Ilaiyaraaja and AR Rahman. Piraisoodan's son took to WhatsApp to share the news of his father's demise. . . . .
