Total Lunar Eclipse 2021: In less than 10 days, we will witness the first Lunar Eclipse of the year as the Full Moon passes through the Earth's dark umbral shadow. The Lunar Eclipse on May 26th will be the first total eclipse of the moon since January 21, 2019. This Lunar Eclipse is also referred to as the Blood Moon because of the reddish-orange colour of the moon during the eclipse. Not only the Lunar Eclipse, from Monday onwards there will be a series of celestial events, according to the NASA. So, sky-gazers get ready with your telescopes. May 17th: The planet Mercury ''reaches its greatest angular separation from the Sun as seen from the Earth'', says the NASA. This essentially means that one will be able to see the brilliant red planet easily with a naked eye. May 19th: On this day, the moon will appear ''half-full as it reaches its first quarter'' and beginning Wednesday evening, Venus - the bright twinkling planet - will join Mercury above the horizon in the evening.More Related News
