The blast in the Ludhiana court complex appears to be "a possible IED [improvised explosive device] attack", said sources in the intelligence agencies hours after an explosion rocked the six-storey building.

Two people died and four others were injured in a blast that took place on the second floor of the District and Sessions court complex in Ludhiana, Punjab. The incident was reported around 12:22 pm on Thursday.
