In a new twist in the Lucknow PUBG murder case, a family member of the teen claimed that the boy took training to use the imported gun. The boy's father knew about the training and had asked him to fire shots in the air.
The 16-year-old boy in Lucknow, who allegedly shot his mother dead as she stopped him from playing PUBG, underwent training in handling and using the imported gun. As more murky details and allegations surface in the sensational murder case, a family member of the teen alleged that he used his father's licensed gun to fire shots in the air. The member claimed that the teen took training to handle and use a pistol.
The boy allegedly killed his mother after being forbidden from playing mobile games in Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow. The boy shoved the dead body into a room and hid it for three days and locked his younger sister in another room.
A family member, on the condition of anonymity, told India Today, "The boy underwent training on how to handle and use the pistol. He also told his father about the training and the latter asked him to fire shots in the air and practice the same many times."
The teen had told his relative's son that he had fired shots in the air using the imported gun multiple times and also aimed at perfecting his shots.
According to a family member, the boy completely disliked his mother and his father used to support him despite his mistakes. Even if the mother scolded the child for committing mistakes, the father used to support him.
The boy's kin said that the teen also took training on how to handle and use a pistol.
The sister of the accused had told family members that hours after allegedly killing his mother, the 16-year-old boy went out of the house on a two-wheeler to meet someone at 2 am.
