
Lucknow PUBG murder: Son cannot kill his mother, says child rights body after questioning teen

The Uttar Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights questioned the 16-year-old boy who has been accused of killing his mother as she stopped him from playing PUBG. The child rights body said that the teen cannot kill his mother and the matter will now be investigated by the Research Wing.
Days after a 16-year-old boy allegedly killed his mother as she stopped him from playing the online mobile game PUBG, new revelations have come to the fore and the case has turned murkier. After the boy confessed to his crime of shooting his mother dead during police questioning, he was sent to a child welfare home and its team asked him several questions in connection with the crime.
During the questioning, the Uttar Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights suspects that the child did not kill his mother and there was an involvement of a third person in the crime. The matter will now be investigated by the Research Wing of the child rights body.
The child rights body posed several questions in front of the child in connection with the murder of his mother. Some of the excerpts from the questioning are:
