LTIMindtree president and board member Sudhir Chaturvedi quits

President and board member of LTIMindtree, Sudhir Chaturvedi has stepped down from his role.
LTIMindtree’s president of global markets, Sudhir Chaturvedi, has stepped down as he is exploring new opportunities elsewhere.
The company’s COO Nachiket Deshpande will now be the frontrunner to succeed CEO Debashis Chatterjee who is expected to retire by the end of this year. Mr. Chaturvedi will be serving in his current role until January 27.
It was earlier reported that Mr. Deshpande would likely be the preferred choice to lead the company.
Prior to this role, Mr. Chaturvedi served as the COO of NIIT Technologies, a company he joined after his stint at Infosys as a senior vice president and the head of financial services of the Americas unit.
“He has been a valued member of the erstwhile LTI Board & presently the LTIMindtree Board since 2016, providing significant contributions to the Company’s strategic direction and growth,” the company said in a press statement while making the announcement.
S.N. Subrahmanyan, Chairman, LTIMindtree said, “I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Sudhir for the remarkable impact he has made during his long tenure at L&T Group. His visionary leadership and unwavering commitment have been pivotal in shaping the foundation for the next phase of growth for LTIMindtree.”
The consulting company announced their earnings for the last quarter a few days ago, reporting a $1.14 billion in revenue which is 1.1% higher than their previous quarter and 5.1% higher than the same quarter last year.

When reporters brought to her notice the claim by villagers that the late maharaja of Mysore Sri Jayachamaraja Wadiyar had gifted the land to them, Pramoda Devi Wadiyar said she is not aware of the matter, but sought to assure people that no effort will be made to take back the land that had been gifted by the late maharaja.
