
Lower primary schools in Assam districts with more than 100 active Covid-19 cases to stay closed

Due to rising Covid-19 cases, the Assam government has decided to shut lower primary schools in all those districts where there are more than 100 active cases.
Following the rise in the number of Covid-19 cases, the Assam government, on Sunday, decided that all lower primary schools, including pre-primary up to five in all districts where there are more than 100 active Covid-19 cases will remain closed till further notice. The state education department has decided to close all the lower primary classes in those districts where the active numbers have crossed the 100 mark.
