Loudspeaker row on the silver screen as MNS set to release movie on controversy

The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) is all set to release a movie on the loudspeaker controversy next week. The party released the trailer of the movie on Friday.
Amid the loudspeaker controversy in Maharashtra, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) is all set to release a movie based on the issue on May 3. The regional party released the trailer of the movie titled Bhonga -- meaning loudspeakers -- on Friday.
The movie, which was completed in 2018 itself, couldn't find any takers then. However, the film entered the film festivals later and won a national award.

MNS leader Sandeep Deshpande said, "This movie was ready in 2018, but now we have the theatrical release rights as well. The movie is relevant and will be released on 3 May."
The MNS said the issue over loudspeakers is "social" and hence, this movie would help bring to light the entire matter.
