The Delhi government has set up a portal to receive donations from anyone looking to contribute to the national capital's fight against the second wave of Covid infections. Here's how you can contribute.
The Delhi government on Saturday launched an initiative enabling people in India and abroad to contribute to the fight against the second wave of Covid-19 infections. On Saturday, the national capital recorded 412 more Covid deaths and 25,219 new confirmed cases of infection. According to a statement, the Delhi government is seeking urgent support to procure a range of critical medical equipment, including oxygen concentrators and D-type oxygen cylinders. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said Indian citizens and the diaspora have always been at the forefront of helping governments deal with calamities in the country. "Thousands of people listened to my call to donate plasma since last year, and this has resulted in saving many lives in the last one year," he said.More Related News
