London police have made an arrest in relation to an arson in London's east end from earlier this week.
On Wednesday morning the fire department was called to 737 Dundas Street, where they quickly knocked down a blaze located on the third floor of the two-storey multi-unit building.
As a result of the investigation, on Thursday police arrested and charged a 38-year-old man with the arson causing damage to property, and break-and-enter to commit arson.
There were no injuries reported. Damage to the building is estimated at $250,000, police said.
Police are still on the lookout for another arson suspect in a separate incident at the same location, which happened between 10:20 and 11 a.m. on Sept. 5.
The suspect in that case is described as male, white, between 20 to 40 years of age, with a thin build, wearing a black hoodie with a white logo on the front, black pants, dark running shoes and a black and white baseball cap. He has a tattoo, possibly a cross, on the back of his neck behind his right ear.
Police are asking anyone who may have dash-cam footage, video surveillance, or any information at all, to call them.
