Premier League: Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, who is the current Rangers FC boss, wants Jurgen Klopp to continue as the manager of the club for several years as it is what the fans want for the team.
Rangers FC manager Steven Gerrard, 40, admitted that it is his dream to join as Liverpool boss one day and take charge of the team that he had a ‘great journey’ with. The Liverpool legend is, however, aware that fans don’t want him as manager yet and he hopes that Jurgen Klopp continues to be the boss for several years with Liverpool. Despite the poor form that defending champions Liverpool are facing in the Premier League this season, Gerrard has backed Klopp to be the best possible manager at the moment for the football club. Having lost 8 Premier League matches since the start of 2021, Liverpool have currently dropped to the eighth position on the table. "The Liverpool fans don't want me to be the manager. They want Klopp to continue to be the Liverpool manager - and I'm totally with them. We shouldn't talk about this. We have one of the best managers leading our club at the minute,” Gerrard told ITV News.More Related News
