Dozens of fire-rescue units were at the scene in Surfside, Florida, near Miami Beach early Thursday of what authorities were calling a partial building collapse. All that appeared to be left of the structure was a huge pile of rubble.
Initial reports said at least two people were taken to a hospital. There was no early word on the type of building it was.
