A video of a little Ukrainian girl singing a song from the animated film Frozen in a bomb shelter has emerged on social media.
Ukraine remains in the middle of chaos ever since Russian forces invaded the country on February 24. To escape the explosions and missile attacks by Russian troops, people in large numbers have taken refuge in underground bunkers and bomb shelters. Some really grim and heartwrenching pictures and videos have been arriving from these shelters. Now, a video of a little Ukrainian girl singing a song from the animated film Frozen in a bomb shelter has emerged on social media. The little girl has been identified as Amelia and the video was shared by Marta Smekhova on Facebook where it has been viewed over 3 million times.
In the video posted on Facebook on March 3, the little girl can be seen singing Let It Go in her native language. The bunker can be seen crowded with people who all looked at her while she performed. In the video, a mother with her baby in the stroller can be seen wiping her tears.
The video was shared with a long caption written in Ukrainian. “The video was made with the permission of the girl's mother... I promised that many people will see her! Amelia really wanted this..(sic),” read a part of the caption.
