Rachakonda Police order liquor outlets to close for 24 hours on Hanuman Jayanti on Saturday (April 12, 2024), urging compliance from traders and public.
Rachakonda Police have ordered the closure of liquor outlets for 24 hours in view of Hanuman Jayanti on April 12. According to a notification issued by G. Sudheer Babu, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, wine and toddy shops, as well as bars attached to restaurants, will remain closed from 6 a.m. on April 12 to 6.00 a.m. on April 13. Bars of star hotels and registered clubs have been exempted from the order. The closure is intended to maintain public peace and order during the religious festivial, said the officer. The police have urged traders and the public to comply with the directive.
