'Like Kansa…': Chirag Paswan takes down Nitish Kumar after JD(U)-BJP split

As Nitish Kumar stepped down, Chirag Paswan accused the veteran politician of holding “nothing ahead of his own ambition”.
Nitish Kumar, who walked out of an alliance yet again today - his fifth time in a career spanning over four decades, has insulted the mandate of the people of Bihar, the former chief of the Lok Janshakti Party, Chirag Paswan, said.
As Kumar stepped down, Paswan accused the veteran politician of holding “nothing ahead of his own ambition”.
“You are all aware of the latest political weather in Bihar. Nothing is ahead of the chief minister’s own ambitions. Bihar went through three alliances in a matter of a few years,” Paswan said.
“They only think of themselves. The irony of Bihar is that there is one government at the Centre and another in the state. Why did they wait for the presidential and the vice presidential elections to be over? They wanted Nitish Kumat to be projected as a candidate. When that didn't happen, they changed the course,” the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) MP said.
