Lightning strike kills 6 in Tamil Nadu, CM Stalin announces ex-gratia for kin

Six people were killed in a lightning strike on Wednesday in Tamil Nadu. CM MK Stalin has announced ex-gratia for the kin of those who died.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Wednesday announced Rs 2 lakh each for the families of those who were killed in a lightning strike in Virudhunagar and Kallakurichi districts.

A total of six people were electrocuted to death when lightning struck them on Wednesday evening.

Chief Minister MK Stalin also extended his condolences to the families of the deceased.
