Liger director Puri Jagannadh will play a special role in Godfather. Chiranjeevi shared a picture on Twitter where he is seen welcoming Puri onboard.
Chiranjeevi's upcoming film, Godfather, is only getting bigger and better! After Salman Khan, Liger director Puri Jagannadh is the latest big name to join the cast in a special role in Godfather. Chiranjeevi, who plays the lead role in the film, welcomed Puri onboard with a heartfelt note.
Chiranjeevi took to his Twitter handle today, April 9, to share some pictures where he is seen welcoming Puri to Godfather's sets. He also gave the director a bouquet of flowers. Chiranjeevi penned a note in Telugu which is loosely translated as, "A boy from Narsipatnam came to Hyderabad to shine as an actor on the silver screen. He played the role of an ara. introducing my @purijagan in a special role, from the sets of #Godfather (sic)."

Godfather is an action entertainer directed by Mohan Raja of Thani Oruvan fame. Apart from Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan, the film features Nayanthara, Satyadev Kancharana, Harish Uthaman, Jayaprakash and Vamsi Krishna in pivotal roles. Reportedly, Salman has a 20-minute role in the film.
