Let's be clear on why the US economy is weakening

Every business that can't keep its doors open because of the Covid outbreak cycle, or the refusal of employees to risk their lives to wait tables or wash dishes, is a hit to the economy. The fault lies with the people who are pouring gasoline on the current outbreak, and who are refusing to take common-sense steps to get Covid under control, writes Jill Filipovic.
