Sheikh Abdullah bin Mishal bin Hamad Al Thani’s Lekhraib won the Sprint Cup – the feature race of the 19th Race Meeting of Qatar Racing & Equestrian Club (QREC) at the Al Rayyan Racecourse on Wednesday. Under Marco Casamento, the 7YO Lekhraib prevailed in 1200m contest for Purebred Arabians by two lengths giving trainer Mohammed Ghazali a double on the day. Bader Mohammed Al Darwish, President, Qatar Equestrian Federation, and QREC’s Acting CEO, presented the trophies to the winners.
