Shivraj Singh Chouhan held the position of Chief Minister from November 2005 till 2023, with a 15-month rule by the Congress party after the 2018 assembly polls.

Before leaving the Chief Minister residence, Mr Chouhan offered prayers at the temple on the premises.
Security personnel and staff at the official residence said goodbye to the former Chief Minister.
