Lata Mangeshkar's first letter to PM Modi's mother in Gujarati

In the letter dated June 6, 2019, Lata Mangeshkar extended her wishes to Narendra Modi's mother after he was re-elected as the Prime Minister of India.
In 2019, when Narendra Modi was re-elected as the Prime Minister of India, he received warm accolades and high-hailing tributes.
Amidst them stood out a letter from 'Nightingale of India' Lata Mangeshkar to PM Modi's mother Heera Baa.
The uniqueness of this letter comes from the fact that the music legend, who passed away at the age of 92 in Mumbai on Sunday, wrote the letter in Gujarati (PM Modi's native language).
In the letter dated June 6, 2019, Lata didi, as she was fondly known, extended her wishes to the Prime Minister's mother and praised PM Modi for his humble nature.
"With the grace of Lord Rama, I congratulate you as your son, and my brother Shri Narendra Modi has been re-elected as the Prime Minister. My respect to you and Shri Narendra Bhai for leading a simple life. I extend my best wishes to Shri Prahlad Bhai, Shri Pankaj Bhai, and I pray to god for the wellness and long life of your entire family. This is the first time I am writing a letter in Gujarati, and hence, forgive me if there are any mistakes. Vande Mataram," the letter read.
