Language can be chosen as open elective: Karnataka Education Minister

Karnataka Education Minister Dr C N Ashwatha Narayana said that language can be chosen as open elective after the implementation of NEP. Mangaluru:

Implementation of National Education Policy (NEP-2020) will further strengthen Indian languages including Kannada and opportunities will be provided for students to choose language as an open elective also, Dr.C.N.Ashwatha Narayana, the Minister for Higher Education, stated on Monday. Addressing a press conference at the University of Mangaluru, he told, the policy is intended to create well-rounded personalities.
