Nearly 80 tourists are stranded in the Sangla valley in Himachal Pradesh's Kinnaur after multiple landslides triggered by heavy rain damaged the Sangla-Chitkul link road on Sunday.
Life came to a grinding halt in Sangla valley in Himachal Pradesh's Kinnaur district after a landslide-related incident killed nine tourists at Batseri gate on Sunday afternoon. Multiple landslides caused by heavy rain also damaged the Baspa valley river bridge. Boulders descending down the Sangla valley even snapped power lines, in addition to causing heavy loss to private property and the Baspa valley river bridge. The landslides also damaged a 300 metre stretch of the Sangla-Chitkul road at Gunsa.More Related News
