Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga has lashed out at Assam for imposing blockade along the border, saying the Himanta Biswa Sarma-led government was making "lame excuses". He also sought the Centre's intervention to stop the ongoing border dispute with Assam.
Amid the ongoing border dispute, Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga has accused the Assam government of making "lame excuses" by claiming illegal drugs trafficking and cattle smuggling as the reason behind imposing a blockade against Mizoram. Speaking to India Today TV, CM Zoramthanga said, "The Assam government is making lame excuse, claiming illegal, drugs trafficking and cattle smuggling.
