Lalu Yadav seeks caste-based census, says even birds and animals are counted in India

Lalu Prasad Yadav tweeted on Friday, “Census can count various animals, birds and other species, but not people of various backward and most backward castes.”

RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav has again hit out at the Centre and asked why the demand for caste-based census should be considered incorrect. The former Bihar chief minister, who has been campaigning for the caste-based census in the country, said even birds and animals are counted in India.
