Lakhimpur Kheri violence: Robert Vadra says he was not allowed to meet Priyanka Gandhi

Lakhimpur Kheri violence: Robert Vadra, who had packed his bag to go to Lucknow to meet his wife Priyanka Gandhi, said he was informed that he won't be allowed to step out of the airport. He also expressed shock over Priyanka Gandhi's preventive detention.

Businessman Robert Vadra claimed that he was not allowed to reach Lucknow "to check" on his wife and Congress general-secretary Priyanka Gandhi who remains under preventive detention for defying orders to visit Lakhimpur Kheri.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Robert Vadra said, "I have been stopped to get to Lucknow, UP to check on my wife and make sure she is fine and well."
