Odisha Congress on Monday held ‘maun vrat’ (vow of silence) to demand the dismissal of Union MoS Ajay Misra from his post in connection with Lakhimpur Kheri violence.

Odisha Congress on Monday held ‘Maun Vrat’ (vow of silence) to demand the dismissal of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Misra Teni from his post and arrest all those involved in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence.

Holding placards saying ‘We demand immediate arrest of culprits and Modi-Yogi-Ajay Misra Down Down", Congress leaders led by PCC Chairman Niranjan Patnaik and former minister Panchanan Kanungo sat on dharna in front of Governor’s House from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
