The two sides are looking at the resolution of the Hot Springs friction point, which emerged after the Chinese aggression last year. The friction points on the banks of the Pangong Lake and Gogra Heights have been resolved.
In a bid to resolve the military standoff in the Eastern Ladakh sector, India and China are likely to hold the 14th round of corps commander talks in the third or fourth week of December.
“The Chinese side has to send up the invitation for the 14th round of talks. The talks are likely to be held in the third or fourth week of this month before the year end,” top government sources told India Today.
