Lack of just solution to Palestinian issue root cause of deterioration of situation: Chinese FM

Beijing: Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi said the root cause of the deterioration of the situation is that for a long time there has not been a just solution to the Palestinian issue.

The Chinese Minister stated, in a phone talk with Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the Security Council has the responsibility to seek early de-escalation. Regrettably, the Council has so far failed to reach an agreement, with the United States standing on the opposite side of international justice, Wang said according to Xinhua News Agency.
