The latest films of two prominent actors – Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar – began their box office journeys on a "disappointing" note on August 11. Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor's Laal Singh Chaddha, which is a Hindi remake of Hollywood hit Forrest Gump, had a “dull start” and a “shockingly low” collection on its first day, reports film analyst Taran Adarsh.
