Legendary footballer Lionel Messi is set to complete the triple crown of most prestigious Barcelona records when he steps out for the La Liga club on Monday against lower-ranked Huesca at home on Monday. Lionel Messi already holds the record for all-time scorer for Barcelona and the most decorated player and, on Monday, he will equal club great Xavi Hernandez's record for the most appearances for the Catalan club.Messi will join former midfielder Xavi on 767 matches in all competitions should he take the field against Huesca at the Camp Nou and then move clear as Barca's record appearance maker when his side visit Real Sociedad next Sunday. The appearance record is one of the few milestones that Messi was yet to achieve in a decorated career with Barcelona for whom he made his debut in 2004. Even as speculation is rife that Messi would make his way out of Barcelona after his contract expires at the end of the season, the 33-year-old continues to set new records at Camp Nou.
