In an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, Jackie Shroff's daughter, Krishna Shroff, recalled being overweight till 15. She also said that negative things were said about her.
Tiger Shroff followed the footsteps of his father, Jackie Shroff, and entered the world of acting. However, Jackie Shroff's daughter, Krishna Shroff, has no plans to join the world of films. She is a fitness enthusiast and is an entrepreneur. Along with her brother Tiger, Krishna runs a gym in the city. When it comes to fitness, Tiger has always been her inspiration. And while Krishna is fitter than ever now, there was a time when she was overweight. In an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, Krishna Shroff opened up about being overweight till the age of 15.
Excerpts from the interview:
Krishna Shroff spoke about once being overweight in an interview with IndiaToday.in. "Growing up, I was on the heavier side and for a lot of my years growing up till I was about 15 years old, I was always overweight. And at the time, I feel like I allowed a lot of these outside voices to really impact me and influence my mindset. But where a lot of people could feel defeated and sort of pulled down, I used that as motivation. And there were a lot of negative things being said, especially when I would go out with my father and there were the media and paparazzi. Then photos were being put out there," said Krishna.
Krishna went on to add that a lot of people felt that they had the right to judge her. According to Krishna, when you are a young teenager, the outside voices can really impact you. However, she didn't let that happen. "But when that could have impacted me in a super negative way, I actually took it in my stride. I felt I needed to work harder and do something and prove the naysayers wrong," said Krishna.
Talking about her fitness inspiration, Krishna said that her brother Tiger has always been her source of inspiration. "Tiger has always been my inspiration. I always say that I have been blessed to grow up with someone like him. Can you imagine living a life with a real-life superhero? There is so much to look up to. And if I can strive to be half as amazing and just driven as he is, I feel that would be a win in its own right for me," said Krishna before signing off.
