The All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) retained power in the Kolkata Municipal Corporation as the party won 101 out of 144 wards and led in 33 others in the civic body polls. The counting of the votes began at 8 am on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the BJP bagged one seat and was leading in three wards, as of Tuesday afternoon. The Congress won two seats and the CPI(M)-led Left Front was leading in two wards, a State Election Commission official said.
