Kolkata in knee-deep water, IMD predicts more rain, thunderstorm for Bengal

Several parts of Kolkata was waterlogged on Thursday after incessant rain overnight. The weather dept has predicted more rain and thunderstorm over the next two days
West Bengal will continue to receive heavy rainfall along with thunderstorms over the next two days even as Kolkata and several parts of the state received incessant rain on Wednesday-Thursday. Several arterial roads and alleys in Kolkata were submerged in water and large parts of the city remained waterlogged throughout the day after overnight rainfall on Wednesday. The southern parts of Kolkata received more rainfall than the north, leaving streets and alleys waterlogged in Ballygunge Circular Road, Loudon Street, Southern Avenue and places in Kasba, Behala and Tollygunge.More Related News
