Kodanad heist, murder: Officials reach VK Sasikala’s residence to continue inquiry on Day 2

VK Sasikala, former aide of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, J Jayalalithaa, is being questioned by police officials investigating the Kodanad heist and murder case. Sasikala was questioned by officials yesterday and she said she would answer all the media’s questions today.
Officials reached VK Sasikala's residence for the second day on Friday, April 22, to continue inquiring the former aide of late Chief Minister Jayalalithaa in connection with the Kodanad heist and murder. Sasikala has said that she would give an answer to all the questions the media had after today’s interrogation ends.
Sasikala was questioned for over five hours on Thursday, April 21, and the line of questioning, according to sources, was regarding her knowledge about the valuables that were on the Kodanad estate. Officials also questioned her about what she knew about the incident and who told her regarding the incident, etc.
A few days ago, former AIADMK MLA, Arukutty, was also questioned by the police in reference to this case.
Arukutty was investigated at the Special Training centre of the Police in Coimbatore on April 15.
Talking to the media after the questioning on Wednesday, April 22, VK Sasikala said that the questioning would continue on Thursday as well.
“I heard that you've all been waiting since the morning, so I came to see you. I can't say anything else now. Once the interrogation is completed tomorrow, I'll answer all your questions, ” she said to media people.
Kodanad tea estate in Tamil Nadu's Nilgiris district was jointly purchased by the late AIADMK supremo Jayalalithaa and Sasikala.
