India vs England: KL Rahul said him not being very expressive on the field doesn't mean he lacks the motivation to deliver for the team. The wicketkeeper-batsman added he always believed in being balanced and that's what helped him to overcome the lean patch in T20Is.
Star India batsman KL Rahul said he has always tried to remain balanced and that is how he dealt with the lean patch he had endured during the T20I series against England earlier this month. Rahul said he has seen people mistake his calm and composed outlook for "not being passionate" but insisted that he sticks to what has worked for him so far in his journey in international cricket. KL Rahul was under considerable pressure as he managed scores of 1, 0, 0 and 14 in the T20I series against England earlier this month. Rahul lost his place in the T20I team as he was dropped for the final T20I wherein he Virat Kohli took his place at the top of the order. India won the final T20i and sealed the hard-fought series 3-2. However, Rahul got the backing of the captain and the team management for the ODI series. While Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit continued opening in the first ODI, Rahul took his usual No. 5 spot, getting the nod ahead of in-form wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant.More Related News
