Royal Challengers Bangalore vice-captain AB de Villiers is "super excited" to get back on the park as they get ready to resume their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 campaign on Monday.

The retired de Villiers had last played cricket against Punjab Kings in IPL 2021 in April before it was postponed indefinitely due to the Covid-19 pandemic. RCB are restarting their season against Kolkata Knight Riders in Match 31 at the Zyed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Monday.
