IPL 2022: Senior batter Ajinkya Rahane reached the 4000-run milestone, becoming the 7th Indian and the 10th overall to get to the landmark. He achieved the milestone during KKR's chase of 139 against PBKS on Friday.
Kolkata Knight Riders batter Ajinkya Rahane added another feather to his cap on Friday as he became the seventh Indian to score 4000 runs in the Indian Premier League during IPL 2022 match against Punjab Kings at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Rahane joined an exclusive list of cricketers to have achieved the feat before him. Rahane needed 8before the start of KKR's match against PBKS to get to the milestone. Rahane now has over 4000 runs in 154 IPL matches. He has 2 hundreds and 28 fifties in the tournament.
Rahane got there with two classy flicks that symbolizes the touch player that he is. Rahane had an opportunity to get to the landmark an innings earlier but he got out early in KKR's game against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Wednesday.
