KK's daughter Taamara has paid an emotional tribute to her dear daddy in a new social media post. Sharing his funeral card, Taamara wrote, "love you forever dad."
KK left the world on May 31 at the age of 53. He was performing at a concert in Kolkata where he fell ill. He later collapsed in his room. His last rites will be held today, June 2. Sharing details about his funeral, KK's daughter Taamara added a heartbreaking note in her social media post. The 53-year-old singer was performing on the Nazrul Manch, Kolkata, for a concert when he complained of uneasiness. He was on his way to the CMRI hospital when he breathed his last. The popular singer will be laid to rest in Mumbai today.
On her Instagram stories, Taamara shared the funeral details of her father, KK's funeral. Along with it, she wrote, “Love you forever dad (sic),” and added a heart emoji. Taamara’s Instagram profile identifies her as a singer, musician and producer. Her account is filled with videos of her with a microphone in her hand, or in the studio, composing and producing music.

KK was one of the most versatile singers in the Indian film industry. He has sung superhit numbers in several languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Bengali, among others. KK reportedly suffered a heart attack. The playback singer collapsed after the concert and was rushed to a private hospital in the city. He was "brought dead" to Kolkata's CMRI Hospital around 10 pm, hospital authorities told India Today TV. KK is survived by his wife and children. Earlier, the Kolkata Police had registered an unnatural death case over the death of the singer. According to police sources, his face and head bore injuries. A preliminary post-mortem report has now ruled out unnatural death. The preliminary post-mortem report has indicated nothing "unnatural as far as death is concerned". The final autopsy report will be published in 72 hours.
