Taamara performed with Shaan at a concert to mark KK's birth anniversary. She wished her father had been there to watch her perform.
Popular singer KK died on May 31, leaving fans heartbroken. He, however, lives on through his work. The legend's daughter, Taamara has now made him proud. She recently performed live for the first time in a concert dedicated to her father and began a new chapter in life. She was accompanied by popular singer Shaan. KK, born in 1968, emerged as a force to reckon with courtesy of songs such as Tadap Tadap, Apadi Podu, and Aankhon Mein Teri to name a few.
KK, widely regarded as one of the finest singers in the industry, passed away in May following a heart attack. His daughter Taamara has now followed in his footsteps. On August 23, she performed alongside Shaan at a special concert to mark KK's 54th birth anniversary. Taamara shared photos from the event and thanked 'Shaan uncle' for supporting her.
She wrote on Instagram: "First gig! Was an amazingly overwhelming experience! Thanks to all the amazing artists who joined us! And special thanks to @singer_shaan uncle for making it really fun to sing ‘it’s the time to disco’ and just being really encouraging and supportive, dad will be smiling somewhere! Can’t believe what’s happening, and can’t stop wishing dad was here with us.(sic)"

This post came shortly after Taamara had dropped a throwback photo of KK while remembering him on his birth anniversary. On friendship Day, she posted a new version of her father's popular track Yaaron.
KK's untimely death was a big blow for his family. Taamara had once revealed that she was not able to listen to his songs in the weeks following his demise. She, however, soon realised that they helped her stay connected to him.
