Killer’s slip-up helps Chattisgarh police crack murder case after 10 years

The murder case came to the fore again when the police found out that the main accused had casually mentioned to a friend that he had killed someone in 2011.

The Chattisgarh Police solved a decade-old murder after the accused admitted to a friend that he had killed a man in 2011, PTI reported. The case pertains to the murder of Lekhram Sen (40), a resident of Kosrangi village, whose body was found in a field in the neighbouring Farhada village back in January 2011.
