Kichcha Sudeep's Vikrant Rona was supposed to release in theatres on February 24. The makers took to social media on January 27 to announce that the film has been postponed due to the Covid situation.
Kichcha Sudeep's big-budget film, Vikrant Rona, was supposed to release in multiple languages on February 24. However, the makers have now announced that the film's release has been postponed due to the Covid-19 situation. Actor Nirup Bhandari also promised that they will announce the new release date soon. The team also urged everyone to stay safe.
Kichcha Sudeep's Vikrant Rona has seen multiple delays due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. The makers were gearing up to release the film in a grand manner across the globe. However, the Covid-19 pandemic played spoilsport once again in their plans.
On January 27, Nirup Bhandari shared a statement informing the fans about the postponement of the film. Sharing the statement, he wrote, "#VikrantRona will meet you on a newer date. Stay Safe! (sic)."
The official statement read, "Despite our willingness to meet you all at the cinemas on February 24, the present Covid scenario and the prevailing restrictions are not favourable for a grand release across the globe. We understand that the wait can be excruciating but we promise that the cinematic experience will be worthy of your patience. We will soon announce the new date on which the world will meet its new hero (sic)."

Vikrant Rona is a fantasy action thriller directed by Anup Bhandari. He plays the lead role alongside Jacqueline Fernandez. Nirup Bhandari and Neetha Ashok have been roped in to play supporting roles in the film. The film will release in five languages, namely, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
