Kiara Advani says ‘celebritydom is a perk of my work, not driving force’

Kiara Advani credits the people in her life for keeping her grounded. For the actress, ‘celebritydom is a perk’ of her work, but it doesn’t serve as a driving force in her life and career.
Kiara Advani has managed to establish herself in Bollywood in a couple of years. The actress talked about the importance of surrounding oneself with the right kind of people. She said they make her grounded. The actress also talked about stardom and how she practices spirituality.
Kiara Advani has a solid fashion game. The actress has played diverse roles on screen and is counted among the most promising young actresses. Kiara appeared on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar India this month and talked about her life and career.
Talking about remaining down-to-earth in movie business, she said, “I’m not too self-aware and there are a lot of people around me who keep me grounded. The celebritydom is a perk of my work but it’s not my driving force I believe in love and forgiveness and if a person cleans up their act, they should get a second chance (sic).”
She added, “If you’re surrounded by the right people and not by yes-people who’re inflating delusions, you’ll be alright. After all, to relate to people you need to be one of them (sic).”
Kiara also opened up about spirituality. She said, “I want to grow as a person and as an actor I’ve always been spiritual and I’m interested in going deeper. It grounds me, keeps me connected with myself, and that will translate into my work I believe (sic).”
