Kia's first electric car in India launched at Rs 59.95 lakh (ex-showroom) available in GT Line and GT Line AWD variants restricted to only 100 units for 2022.
The all-electric Kia EV6 is now on sale in the Indian market priced from Rs 59.95 lakh (ex-showroom). The EV is being imported to India in completely built-up or CBU form in limited numbers restricted to just 100 units for 2022. Kia India has received 355 bookings for EV6 so far.
Kia EV6 comes with a warranty of 3 years/unlimited kilometres, and additional battery coverage for 8 years/1,60,000 kilometres.
Buyers of the Kia EV6 will receive a 22kW AC wall box charger and assistance will be extended to them for installation at a place of their choice. While the exact charging times have not been specified, expect this charger to easily top up the battery from 10 to 80 per cent overnight easily. Kia has also announced that the 15 dealerships across 12 cities that will retail the EV6 in India will have 150kW DC fast charger installed.
The EV6 isn’t meant to chase volumes in India, it’s a statement from Kia flaunting the brand’s strengths and technological prowess, showcasing just how well prepared the brand is for our all-electric future, and that’s something this EV does rather brilliantly.
