Yash's KGF: Chapter 2 has been on a record-breaking spree ever since it hit the theatres in April. The Hindi version of KGF: Chapter 2 will cross Rs 400 crore in India today, May 6. This is a massive feat for a Kannada cinema. Earlier, Prabhas and Rana Daggubati-starrer Baahubali: The Conclusion, directed by SS Rajamouli, was the only film to achieve this milestone.
Director Prashanth Neel's KGF: Chapter 2 was released in theatres on April 14 in multiple languages. The film is enjoying a glorious run at the box office, shattering records one after another.
On May 5, KGF: Chapter 2 dethroned Aamir Khan's Dangal to become the second highest-grossing Indian film. Now, the film (Hindi version) is all set to cross Rs 400 crore-mark in India. Baahubali: The Conclusion was the only film to achieve this feat in India.
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala wrote, "#KGFChapter2 Hindi will cross the ? 400 Crs Nett mark at the #India Box office today. Only the 2nd Hindi movie after #Baahubali2 to achieve this feat (sic)."

According to trade expert Manobala Vijayabalan, KGF: Chapter 2 refuses to slow down. At the end of three weeks of its theatrical run, the film had collected Rs 1084.37 crore worldwide.
